mo©k

mo©k is an artist who lives and works in Venice, CA. His work takes on a life of it's own after he creates it. Most of his work is created to be experienced in a public setting much like a sand castle on the beach carefully crafted only to be carried out to sea at the next high tide. MO©K calls this can series his 'Urban Sand Castles.' These cans have been placed on the streets of Los Angeles to be interacted with. They create a humorus dialog with people not expecting to find art on the sidewalk. MO©K says the cans are a satire on mass commercialization and consumererism.

"Everything is Now Available in Cans" show on Abbot Kinney in December 2014 was quickly grabbed by lucky pedistrians for a special gift for the holidays from MO©K!
